Clorinda Contreras Erives is a proud Tolleson native, lifelong community member, and graduate of Tolleson's public schools, including Tolleson Union High School. A retired educator with more than 30 years of service, she dedicated her career to helping students succeed and strengthening the future of her community. Today, she continues her commitment to family as a caregiver to her father, Frank Contreras. She is also a devoted wife, mother, and proud grandmother to a sixth-generation Tollesonian.
For the past 16 years, Clorinda has had the privilege of serving the residents of Tolleson on the City Council, including two years as Vice Mayor. Throughout her tenure, she has worked to support safe neighborhoods, strong families, quality city services, economic growth, and opportunities for future generations. Her leadership is guided by a simple principle: Promises Made, Promises Kept.
